With over 40 years of expertise and 25 years of custom boot fitting experience Le Feet Lab has "a reputation that speaks for itself." Jacques Thomas Settled in Winter Park in 1979 and opened Le Ski Lab as a four store chain. Later in 1988 he downsized to one store to began his renown custom boot fitting techniques.

Jacques has become an icon in the world of custom boot fitting, with an extensive background in racing, teaching, including work with the US, French and Rossignol professional ski teams. His success with bootfitting eventually led Jacques to deal exclusively with foot problems and body posture.

Extensive work with the NSCD (National Sports Center for the Disabled) and working relationships with other industry innovators like Mr. Sven Coomer, the inventor of "Zip Fit" custom boot liners and with Dalbello ski boots the purveyors of the anatomically minded 3-piece CRX and Zeon ski boot shells, has kept Le Feet Lab on the cutting edge of ski boot technology.

Brian Grayson met Jacques in February of 2003 and has been learning from the master ever since. Finally motivated to come see Jacques after painful bone spurs made even street shoes unwearable, boots from Le Feet Lab saved the day. Recognizing Thomas' expertise compared to the painful experiences with prior bootfitters, Grayson was quick to come on board. Originally intending for a career in chiropractic or osteopathy, his degree in human nutrition from Colorado State provided him with a thorough biological background and working knowledge of biomechanicics, knieslology and sports medicine. Brian also brings a "newschool" understanding to Le Feet Lab, as he is well aware of the demands of park, pipe, rails and freeskiing. Brian also spends his summers as a bike mechanic at Totally Wired Cyclery, adapting his knowledge to bike fits.
